The OS CV-RX is not like the OS TZ and does not have near the power! I think you have them confused. But is a VERY good engine and has all the power you will ever need and will not tear up the drive train like the TZ will. I know as I have the 18 TZ and not an 18 but the 15CV-RX. Yes it is much better then the 3.0 in my opinion! There are other good engines out there but the CV-RX is very user friendly. Yes if you get the one with the correct shaft will all most drop in. All small blocks are pretty much the same other then the shaft. Now I do not have any idea what they cost in the UK!

the os .18 cvrx is an excellent engine, i run 4 of them, Nitro mt, hpi rs4, Tmaxx and rc10gt, easiest engine to tune, loads of power, will wheelie all of the trucks easily, and you get can for $109 from towerhobbies, and its a direct fit for the hpi firestorm. I think they deliver to the UK too.
