Duratrax Maximum MT Engine??
I have a duratrax Maximum MT. I have had very little luck with getting it to run right. I have replaced almost everything in the fuel system, exhaust, and drivetrain. I was wondering what engines will fit on that truck. I have an RC10GT and it runs great. i was wanting to put the Associated .15 on it. Will this work?

I have a Hot Bodies .18TM in my daughter's Maximum ST Pro and it dropped right in so as long as the AE .15 has an OS style mount it will drop in just fine

I think an os 18 would be way too much power. The 12 in there fried my clutch after a couple years. Its not that sturdy of a truck.

the 18 is way too much power, mine eats spur gears and trannies like they were nothing. on the MT you can get the optional metal spur gear but on the two speed ST you have to convert it too a single spped to use the metal gear which I have not done yet.
