Default Servo torque

I was just wondering how much torque in a steering servo and throttle servo would be good for an rc10gt?

I'm considering getting two jr z590m servos w/ a transit time of .17 and .14 and torque of 70oz/in and 85oz/in at 4.8 and 6.0v respectively...

You can never have enough torque!
I would say 70oz and up would be good for both throttle and steering.

I say you want at least 90 ounces for a 1/10-stadium truck. But torque is not the only thing to consider but all so transit time. If you race you want at least .15 or faster.

11.2 (kg / cm) = 1,003 oz / in

3.2 nanoseconds = 0.0000032 milliseconds

well, that sounds good, but generally what I've found true w/ servos is that you get what you pay for...hitec servos are supposed to be really good from what I've heard...

The reason i was going to get the z590m srvos is that I can get them both for really cheap...but now I'm starting to wonder...

I am putting the hextronik in my savage. HPI Savage's need a really strong servo. People have used them on savage central and they really like them. I wont have it running until I get my mamba monster max and finish my e-savage conversion this summer. I'll run it with a 6v rx pack and see how good it works.

Anyway, how can you go wrong with a $7.57 servo? you know what, I am starting a thread on this servo right now. link for thread is below.
