Hey there guys

I am having a problem, I need to adjust the ball differential and it says in the manual that I need to disconnect the rear camber link ( using pliers ) at the right rear tire. I am trying to get it off but am afraid of breaking it. Is there a easier way to get it off or do I just pull hard with pliers I dont want to mangle the plastic

I hope you guys can help me with this[&:]

If you pry it close to the edge where it disconnects you shouldn't have a problem.........................that plastic is some tough stuff................try some needle nose [&o]

does it take a little force to pop it off the ball?

sometimes it takes a lot of force [&o]

Im more of concerned with mangling the plastic with the teeth of the need nosed pliers[:@]

i find the best way of doin it is not to pull on it, but to twist the ball end off.

AKA get some pliars onto it and twist the pliars downwards so it pops of the ball end, works a charm everytime

grip the metal part with the plyers and pry the plastic off [:-]

Im still having trouble getting this darn turnbuckle from the ball cup[&:]

Again, grab the plastic ball cup by the metal joint and TWIST (not pull or pry). That's it, nothing more to say. You just need to do it. The worse that will happen is you break a .30 part.

what? No thats the turnbuckle, your trying to get the ball end of so u can drop the arm down so the CVD will pop out of the drivecup and u can get to the adjuster screw

The plastic parts on the ends are what u want to pop off

hey look at that, I got it [&:] I was just afraid of damaging it. I am a model railroader so am used to having to be very careful with parts but I see RC nitro parts are a little tougher [8D]

another question guys, are the little foam pieces that go over the ball joints necessary??

Not really if you keep your truck clean its about the same...........I never have had any trouble [:-] but they are good for keeping dust and dirt out

if im not mistaken jatos use ball capture ends evaders use ball cups. the cups can egg out and dirt can sand the insides out but i dont have any of those foams left and its fine but just leave them till they rot off [8D]
