I don't know about the Jato, but on ebay I get XXX-NT fronts and rear ends for about $15-20 shipped. So take a peak on ebay, see what they got.

take a flat blade screw driver and try to turn your fly wheel with that. If it moves it is good if it doesn't whell your engine is toast.

If I replace the engine could I put any engine on it and would it work with the ez start? If so what would be the best motor for it?

a little of that is your choice.you could either replace the stock engine with a new trx 3.3 or you could use O.S engines.......you can use the easy start with any trx engine and i'm not fully sure but i think O.S has a easy start backplate engine versions
