Default Starterbox Question

Can I use a starter box and leave the pullstart on or is it a MUST that the pullstart is removed and a backplate installed ?

no you will be fine you can even take JUST the pull start off and run it like that. A back plate is like 15 bucks just get one if you are going to a starter box..

it will not hurt your motor to leave the pull start on.

If you are going to get a starter box then yes get a back plate.

it will be to your advantage because it will allow the motor to spin with less resistance and crank out a few more rpm's
