To late he already bought it. Chris is right I have bought some real nice rc's that were used, just pay attention to what your buying is the key.I recently bought a mt2 used off the bay for 100 bucks shipped and it was practically new, deals are out there just have to be patient and watch who your buying from.

LMAO wow $160 for nitro. Man that's pretty funny. Oh and yea I must say going used is smart as well! For $140 (less than the price of your "exceed") I got a RC10GT with an extra engine and parts.. found it right here on these classifieds. Take a look! Some nice RCs for cheap on there. They have RS4s all over the place last time I looked around the $150 range. Crazy. Of course, the engine may not be as good as a new one.. but just get a new OS engine for about $100. And some of the RC makers (HPI comes to mind) have engine trade-in policies (HPI lets you trade in a crapped engine for a new one at half price!). So, say you score a RS4 for $150, trade in the engine in HPI, get a new one for like $75.. and there you go, good as new RS4 for $225. (Applies to all HPI RCs like firestorm, obviously.. I just find RS4s all over the place for some reason.)

I saw a Firestorm 10T the other day on there for $100 :O

Yep used is great if you know what you are looking for! I bought my xxx-nt sport rtr 2 off here, not even a gallon on the engine, super clean and came with a free 3600mAh battery for the spin start for $200 shipped. I also got an amazing deal on an 8ight, it came with $200 in servos, upgraded pipe, very custom body, and 16 tires for $270 shipped!

Damn that is a nice deal. I'll take a look and see what's for sale. Probably pic up a truggy this summer. Guess I'll save those pennies and buy a "real" RC huh?

Half my fleet has been bought used at great prices and all have been in like new condition at a fraction of the cost of a new one.Sounds like a great deal you got on the 8ight,I'm currently looking for a 8ight myself but might end up getting another Hyper7 if I can't find a good deal on a 8ight before spring.I would really like the 2.0 but funds don't allow it at the moment.

Joey save your money and buy a good quality rc you will be glad you did and will be left wondering why you wasted your money on the exceed.

Get the 8ight 1.0 now as everyone is getting the new 2.0 and they are going cheap.

ugh.why is it all the time i see so many bad post sbaout traxxas?Ihave a rustler with an upgraded motor,it's fast and i have absolutely beat the sh*t out of this truck, for a year i've had it of driving it almost every day and doing nothing but jumping as high as it'll go,and NOT ONE PART has broke, durable as hell.i can say i have done everything tothis truck, jumped it intoa car once, hit walls full speed and lamp posts, hell went through a bnucnh of pudlles withno w aterproofing, still works fine.this truck is amazing.i've ran this truck as hard as i can, hell actually TRIED to break parts and haven't,absolutley the most durable truck i've ever driven.so, i figured i'd put in my 2 cents.

It's a very good Truggy, built tuff as hell as most Ofna's are.I would get one myself but truggys are not very popular around here so I stay with whats hot and thats 1/8th scale buggy and mt's.My buddy has one and races it and does quite well but for some reason they haven't taken off that well here,on average there are about 8 that show up to race and thats just not enough for me to get one.In the buggy class we usually have 3 mains becouse so many run buggys so thats where I stay.We have a outlaw st class that's really taken off aswell,it's a run what ya brung class with great turnouts aswell.Unfortinatly I only get to hit the track about once a month but when I go the mt's and buggys rule the track. My son wants to give buggy ago this year so thats why I'm looking for a 8ight buggy for myself and he will take over my Hyper 7.I hope to hit the track everyother week this year since he's showing interest in racing.

It's a great truggy and is as tough as any other Iv'e seen.Try the truggy forum for more info on the Jammin.
