I dont know why my Jato's on board switch wont power the car. The car itself will start with the EZ start but i cant get the darn thing to respond to my Control. When i flip the switch on the car the battery holder( just 4 batteries, not the pack) start to get really hot and at first started smoking and melting. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Yea maybe, im going to have to check out my wiring cuz i did take it apart to replace the top plate and had to move the wires around. I know its not the batteries, i made sure of that. I replaced the wire switch harness, and the battery holder wire and put in another receiver and it still does the same. But maybe it is a pinch wire or something like that. What is an RX?

That does not sound good LOL. Rx = reciever (the thingy on your RC that the batts and servos plug into, that gets response from the transmitter (or tx)).
