HPI FIRESTORM?

A buddy of mine is selling me his nitro firestorm. what breaks the most,what up grades would i need to make how good are these 2wd trucks thanx in advance.

To be perfectly honest,this truck is hard to break.The clutch spring breaks quite frequently,but can easily be fixed with the Savage 21 teflon clutch set which I think is $11 on tower.You also might want to take a look at the servo saver.It comes pretty loose and you will notice some steering slop as you turn.Tighten the saver bolt and locktite it to prevent it from loosening.
When you get this truck,it doesn't hurt to take a thorough look at it and make sure every screw is tight and everything is in good shape.Ask him how it's been used and how he broke it in.
This is a great truck that can take a lot of abuse and pretty much anything you try to do to it!It's racing capabilities are still not proven either way,but is starting to make a name for itself at the track.
