hey my old rusty 1.5 ez-start isnt turning the moter for some reason, the electric moter thingy is working but its making a high pitched noise and none of the gear assembly is working, any idea on what the problem is?

also is using a 7 cell battery in the old ez-start bad?

the gears may have stripped out for some odd reason. disassemble it and see what you have goin on in there.

ya gears stripped, i went out and bought a pull start tho, works very well

that's probly what i'll do with my slayer if the ez start craps out. not to mention shaving the weight off.
