MIP clutch, Dynamite makes some aluminum parts, RR alumium diff gear. There are a couple. Search XXX-NT on ebay and you will find some more. IMO the NT is great out of the box, really nothing eeds to be changed.

do we need an explanation of what a clutch does everyone? its gonna give u a better power transfer from idle to wot, faster accel, and it will last longer
the xxxnt is not the basher type its made for racing and most upgrades are racing developed

all you need then is a good clutch and the right gear setting
its not about upgrades its about setup and skills
maybe another thing could be the servos, you def. need some fast ones
and there is alot to setup
the (mip) clutch itself
gearings
shocks + their position
tires + foam
camber
and the right pipe for your engine

what is camber?
what would good gearing be?

The best thing for you to do is go to the track where you will be racing and run your truck a few times and get to know the people at the track. They will be much more help to you than anyone around here could be because they know how there track is 
faster is not always better in ST racing and unless you have had the practise to stay in front of everyone on the track don't worry about how fast you are just worry about getting around the track. A good racer can win with a lot less power than needed to win a fast straight away contest [:-]

there is no "the" setup
it varries by circumstances
but for a regular race i guess you should buy a .12
camber is the angle of the wheels if i havent translated that wrong
