I want to upgrade to 2.4Ghz and was thinking about this because of the low price but have read that the range is quite bad. Can anyone tell me if this is true

There are only 2 main manufacturers of part for radio equipment for RC's. I have no knowledge of the product but with it selling so cheap I would think it was made from first generation 2.4 Ghz parts. All of the first generation radio's had distance problems along with a few other problems that have now been repaired. I wouldn't throw my money at a radio that might not be good or have proper warranty on it. Stick to Airtronics, Futuba, Jr, Spectrum etc. If you have problems with any of those products they cover them. Good luck and HAPPY RC'en
