i saww a few of you guys have these on you st's. i was wondering what exactly do they do? and how hard are they to put on? o and are they realy worth it after drilling you carb?
also does any one make them any more mip's is d/c

Don't know much about them but here is some info I found for you. IMO there is nothing like a good air filter and exhaust.

Really the only "effective" boost bottle application I've seen is in ATV's such as a Yamaha Banshee. They are a 2 cylinder 2 cycle motor and what the boost bottle does is equalize the air pressure between the 2 carburetors. I don't see how it would work on a single cylinder single carbed engine.

These improve "hole shot" coming outta the corners. Simply put, they improve snap and accelleration for an instance when the carb is brought to WOT. If you think about it, why don't you see the guys on the pro circuit using them?.... because they are obsolete technology. They were big in the '80-'90's but engines have come a long way since then.
