Default Running too rich????

I have a menace and the car is spitting out a lot of fuel through the exhaust. Is the car running too rich? Temp is right around 170-180 which is great. Car is a little sluggish off the line and not running as fast as i think it should. Not sure if its even hitting third gear even thought there is definitely the room for it. Thoughts??

If it spits alot of clearish liquid out and not a whole lot of smoke then it's too rich. If it has good stable idle where you have it tuned now, work with leaning your HSN first and see if it starts running better.

The fuel coming out is pretty dirty/oily.

When running on pavement you can even see the trail of fuel left over.

The car idles well. I've never had to touch that.

yea it def sounds like its running a bit too rich. i had the same problem. just lean it out a bit, 1/8 turn at a time, and go from there. u shouldnt have to touch the lsn or idle screw if everything else is good
