Default .16cxp problems...need some help

so the otherday i got a .16cxp from nitrorcx.com and i knew it was a cheap motor so i took special caqre through break in with the new break in method...ran so smooth and was pretty powerful then after about 7 tanks i put it up for the night...it got dark out. the next day i started having problems...it would start here and there and then didnt reach high rpms before dieing. then wouldnt start and it frustrated me and put it away agian....a couple h0ours later i tried agian...it started and then died again after 20 seconds...even when revving it up...played with the high speed needle and nothing happens...low speed needle something....its got great compression and im running 20% top fuel traxxas brand....any info would be great.....

Is it shooting excessive fuel out of the pipe and making a puddle?

If it is your running way too rich. set the needles to factory default and lean out the HSN by 1/8th turns till it can accelerate without dying. Also make sure you watch the temp of the engine and make sure it doesn't go over 270 degrees (or whatever the manufacturer says)

I'd lose the Top fuel and get some Byron's if you can....

And what the others said.

4 different glowplugs ive set it at 2 1/2 turns for both needles...engine came in a box...thats it...no papers or directions or anything....cant find factory settings.. but used the normal 2 1/2 and broke it in... then that wouldnt work the next day like i siad so i looked it up on the forum and someone siad try 3 1/2 on the hsnand that worked great for awhile then the same problem accured agian...changed glowplugs and battery in glow plug igniter new feul from the can instead of my fill bottle and then it would start for a sec. then die and i played with the needles agian...nothing will work...if this engine doesnt work soon im just getting a os 15 or os 18...something ill knowthat works...i just dont have the money 2 buy a new engine everytime i turn around

ya i hear you there, i have never heard of this motor you are using but if you buy an OS engine i know you will be more than happy and have a larger base of ppl to talk to about break in and other prolems, also you can buy replacement parts for them as well.
