Well i thought today i would hook up my drill to the motor and see if i could get atleast a bark out of it but nothing. Turns over and over but doesn't start. I don't know if the ignator is bad or truck is flooded? This is my first nitro so i am not sure how to get it to start. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you priming it? Can you see the fuel getting into the carb? Is the glow plug ok? Try a new plug and put a new battery in the ignitor, if it still does not start then put the carburator settings back to factory and try to start it then.

Ok it is getting fuel as i flooded it on accident. I took the glo plug out and it gets red with the battery installed. I will see about adjusting the carb back to stock.

Best is a realitive term, they all are about the same IMHO
I used the cheap Ofna box for years,,, similar to this one http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXBN23&P=0
it was the best for me because it was cheep and it worked for years
I had one of these too, it worked fine also

You'll need a battery and a charger also
good luck

Ah ok so look for 1/10th scale starter ok. I have a question about this pull starter:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I am assuming it is to small for this motor right? I got it to bark tonight with just my drill but that is not working out so great lol....

Ok is there much difference between a .15abc and a .16torq motor pull start?
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWW03&P=X
comes with bearing and everything. Should work for my truck right? I can't find the replacement pull starter on towerhobbies.com

I'll be honest man seeing its a used engine I wouldn't dump a ton of cash trying to get it started. I did that on my 1st nitro and gave up eventually and bought a new engine. I later found out that the motor was shot that I got with my 1st truck.
A nice engine that is relatively cheap that looks like it MIGHT fit is a HPI Nitro Star T-15. It was the 1st engine I bought new and is extremely easy to tune and pretty reliable. Its also really fuel efficient. a 75cc tank gets around 15-20 minutes of run time, I've ran about 80-85% of a bottle of nitro through mine, and it still starts on the 2nd-3rd stroke of the piston. Hell it still has the same glow plug in it that it was shipped in even.

Actually a broken pull starter on my 1st nitro was what lead me to a new motor lol
I had a Nitro Star .15FE which was discontinued around 8 years ago, and for a pullstart they wanted $55...
I saw the Nitro Star T-15 and was like OK $10 more I get a brand new motor with a pullstart on it... kinda a brainless decision there
But yea thats the only issue with used nitros. You almost immediately need a new engine. Every used one that I've got the engine has been totaled and only usable as a paperweight (BTW dropping old nitros in a bucket of degreaser over night really gets them clean if you go with the paperweight route
)

if you get a new engine you may want to consider a traxxas pro .15. you can buy it and the traxxas starter on tower for around $150 shiped.
