Alright, im not the best with figuring out whats wrong with my rc's when something goes wrong. Lately my steering servo on my basher (traxxas nitro sport) has been acting up. The response is not that great, nor is it fast. It just doesn't turn smoothly at all, sometimes it makes clicking noise and and seams as though it takes a lot of effort to turn the wheels when it's on the ground. I also noticed that the 4 screws holding the servo together may come loose so you can pull it apart. Either way I'd like to buy a new servo, the one im running is pretty old.
Before I tested this I made sure I put in a new set of batteries for the receiver.
Is the problem what I think it is? This is also the deal on my losi mini-t.
As for the sport, if I were to get a new servo what would you suggest I get? (Running the stock receiver by the way)
Thanks for your time

Here is a basic high torque servo http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXDWF8&P=0
I run them in most of my cars, they last forever and provide enough steering power for 1/10 scale bashing cars. You should find a nice NIMH receiver pack, as any aftermarket servo will draw more power than a stock servo.
