Default HPI MT2 engine

I'm building my first truck from scratch, I've chosen to start off with an MT2 base plate, but want a larger engine than what HPIoffers, and I want to use the holes already drilled into the plate, so I was wondering how Igo about selecting the right engine/base or how I know what is compatible? Thanks for any help!</p>

pretty much any small block will fit. you might want to consider an OS 18CVR. I had one in mine a couple years ago and it was a drop in replacment.

Here is the link to my build thread It is an RC10GT with a Losi mach 427 engine. there are lots of big block conversions being done. but you will not be able to use the original holes that are in the stock chassis. you will most likely have to redrill your own
