CONTEST GIVEAWAY: Anyone know what this thing does?
#26
hopefully your flying field was upstream from your house. you could throw your wooden shoes in the river and they would self clean as they floated home. it seems like a good idea anyway.

David, you did not understand it,
I already did prepare a post for our European Modelers Forum.
After our popular period of pattern pilots (ppopp) my grandpa did still have hundreds of shoe cleaning and shining foot rests, I was amused and surprised of his creativity to sell them all.
How?
He shipped them to the USA and asked one of the members of RCUniverse to give one away on RCUniverse.
CONTEST GIVEAWAY: Anyone know what this thing can do?
BTW Gents of the USA
We want to print the labels now, so please look if there is any comment. If so, let us know so we can change the text.
To make it easy I did number the custom made device description with the article number.
Have attention for label 15, the discription is too long. we want to make it shorter to reduce printing costs!!!

Hey I thought it was a fun tread! Even though I was the only one right on what it is for! But I do have to get one for the wife so I ordered it on thankgod.com and what do you know its on back order! and that alone proves I was right!

I protest. Where's your 1/4 pilot? The unwritten contest rules clearly stated the winner must display with the winning intent. Failure to do so results in immediate penalty of using the device for option 8 outdoors in Ohio on Jan.1st, 2011 at 1:11am.

Hairy46, gents,
First container is shipped, so be patient.
Yes, Roger’s Custom Product 12 was most wanted we did hear from several suppliers (also! thankgod.com).
For that reason Roger is developing a hands free light weight double position universal RCP carrying away tool now to make other family members more enthusiast to assist you on the field. It’s free when ordering and buying two or more RCP’s in the future.
One important point of attention.
Flagged Object Damage (FOD)
In the sixties the RCP’s footrests basically were banned from the fields in Europe. Only near the car we did use them and not without reason.
Of course we did try to sell the RCP’s in Europe our self again first but after some period they were banned again by the FAI. There were too much accidents, not only material damage but even broken necks, arms, legs etc.
I think it is a good point in the USA to mark your RCP(s) with a flag for better visibility. (Edit: the RCP, not the transmitter! Of course the transmitter you ALSO can give a flag, why not!)
You are all handy men so we only make an example. Please ask other pilots when you are finished with the modification to do a range check and if someone struggles over your RCP you can say:
"I am sorry for your flagged object damage!" (So to let him know it is his own fault!)
