Practicing F3A on AFPD
#1
Hi all,
I am trying to practice F3A sequence on AFPD but i really don't get it right on a 17inch monitor....
Now i am planning to use a projector so i can see it huge big in comparison to a 17inches monitor. Please let me know your view & ideas regarding the flight simulator experience. I am flying the Astral 2X2 on the AFPD & i a practicing the p-13 sequence.
Thanks,
Harry

I asked this same question on another thread some time ago. Not much response. Most people seem to be practising 3D. I wish I could see some video on YouTube of someone practising pattern on AFPD.

IMO, AF has a huge advantage for sequence practice: look for and download the farmland-grid scenery. Lines are drawn in the sky that provide references to ground.

I'd like to see them develop this game for use on the new 3-d televisions now on the market....
IMHO, as much as I enjoy flying the sim, for me the challenge has been dealing with the lack of depth of field when flying pattern.
for 3d or heli flying, they are sweet!

Interesting idea Mark.
It got me thinking.... I have a new 55" 3D TV with a PC input. It has a 3D emulation mode that does a decent job of making 2D shows look 3D (with the dorky glasses of course).
I might just run a cable from PC to TV and see what the sim looks like with 3D emulation (assuming it's available with PC input).
