18.1-10apc 30% seems the norm

I had the same set up a number of years ago, I used 17x12 wide with Coolpower 30% heli.

Also 17x12 30%, I then moved to 17x13, but the engine has to be well broken in and adjusted for that prop, I was very happy with the 17x13.

30% nitro and APC 16.5 X 12. This a very good combination.

I am currently flying a YS160 powered impact and the most important issue is to not load the engine with a big prop. The engine runs best when it is propped to rev at 8200-8400 on the ground. I fly the F3A schedules with this model an I find a 18.1 x 10.1 trimmed to 17.75x10.1 a good setup as this modelis fairly slippery in the air. This setup gives you a little more time, contant speed and better downline breaking. I would suggest a prop with more pitch therefore a higher speed envolope for lower classes 16.5 x 12.5 works well in this instance.

The 16.5 X 12 gives 8200rpm on 30%.
