Here's my old Bridi Super Kaos... refurbished and ready to go again. This is the 4th engine
in the plane... hundreds of flights.

Having lost my first Anthem after what I can only assume was a software bug in the JR X-Bus converter firmware, I bought another Anthem but in the new colour scheme that I find I much prefer. Currently, it is powered by an Adverrun V1 but later this year, when I get my 2nd Debowski TMCR I will replace the Adverrun. This Anthem also saw the replacement of my much trusted JR XG11 system with a Jeti DS24 system. I first flew this Anthem in September 2024 and have now logged just over 200 flights with it.

I was trying to remember the engines I had in this plane, I've had this plane for
about 40 years. I bought it from a guy with a used wing and a new fuselage kit.
I started out with a K&B .61 with an OS carb that ran good, wore it out. Then I
ran an OS .61 FSR... wore it out. Then I put an OS RF rear pipe that ran a few
years, and shed the liner. I put another OS RF in it now. I had to rebuild the tail
3 times over the years, this one Is a copy off a Killer Kaos kit I have hoarded.

That's a pretty impressive history Flyboy Dave.

By the way, I like the outdoor toilet!

Default post some pictures of your pattern plane!!

Having lost my 2nd Anthem to a very tall tree trying to land in a strong cross wind, I am now the 3rd owner of a CA Model Andes V2. The interesting thing is that when I contacted the designer about whether CA Model were going to produce quick release struts like BJ Craft does, he said he flew his without struts! So, if that's what the designer did, I thought I'd follow suit. As far as I can tell, there is not difference without the struts and it saves time rigging and derigging the aircraft. For those who don't know, both wings are retained by 4 bolts, 2 at the front and 2 at the rear of each wing into blind nuts just inboard of the fuselage sides. Other biplanes that used a pair of bolts fore and aft on the centreline of the top wing, like the Citrin, clearly need the struts and, in the case of the Oxai designs, were all quick release fitting struts. I think the Andes also looks a bit sleeker with out the struts.

Latest version of my Divergent F3A design. This one has a little more vertical area and I raised the stab 3/4”. This one is powered by a Dualsky 6355 205 KV motor and Dualsky Summit 100 F3A ESC. Servos are all MKS 69HV driven by a Jeti DS16. Paint is all automotive base coat and 2K clear. I’m currently waiting for out grass runway to get dry enough to be mowed for the maiden flight.

Hey Drac1, looks like you’ve left the YS 4-strokes for e-power. It is an irresistible force. I’ve conceded :-)
