All,
I would like to invite you to the 2nd Annual Brazos Valley Fall Pattern Classic. The field will be open Thursday and Friday for practice and we welcome campers. Last year, we had 1 tent guy, 2 RV guys, 1 bus guy, and 1 5th wheel guy. We expect more this year. AMA Classes will fly the 2015 sequences and FAI will fly P17 only. Sportsman may fly any AMA legal aircraft. We will not check weight or sound in any class for this contest.
Pilots' Meeting:
Will be at 8 AM
Last year, we had a great turnout with 28 pilots our first year. This year, we're hoping for more. We're going to start early by flying one flight line facing South so the sun isn't in the box. We will score landings for this round as either a 0 or a 10 in AMA classes. This will allow us to fly more rounds and get out of there earlier on Sunday. Once the sun is high enough, we will revert back to two flight lines facing East and landings in AMA will then be scored again.
Saturday Night BBQ and night fly:
We will have our traditional Saturday night dinner at the field after flying from the world famous Fargo's BBQ (ribs, brisket, chicken, and more) and feel free to fly in the night fly.
If you have any questions, please let me know. The event is listed on the NSRCA website as well. Entry fee is $40 which includes dinner. Family is welcome at $10 per person for the meal. Trophies 1-3 in all classes. We truly hope you can attend.
