Now I have found a biplane I can get interested in. One question: How are the wings secured to the fuselage so that interplane struts between them are not required?

The wings are secured to the fuselage through the carbon tubes. The interplane struts are not required. Do You want send the picture of model without the wings?

Interesting. How are the wings secured to the fuselage? I see two holes which I am guessing fit the alignment pins, but what physically holds the wings to the fuselage and how are the fasteners accessed?

Hello,

The wings are secured to the fuselage with M4 screws. The model doesn't have to rotated when You assemblies and secured the wings to the fuselage and when You inserting the battery. The battery are inserted into dowv cowl. The model remains in the landing gear, when the overall assembly and inserting battery.

All clear now. The only questions I have left is how much is it and where can I order one?

+1 for me. I am in the market for a new bipe. US distributor/Dealer please?

I found this website but there is not much information there:

http://www.jm-composites.cz/

Folks in that part of the world make some great airplanes. I have a lot of time in airplanes built by TL-Ultralight like the Sirius and Sting.

With the information I have been given there is no US distributor/dealer at this time. Currently the plane is only sold in Europe. I did the same search and got the same website with little useful information. Ah well. Maybe in the future.

Why do you need a local distributor?

Buy it direct.

Don't necessarily need a local distributor but if they had one, it would make purchasing easier. There's not much in the way of ordering info or pricing on their web site either. The subject bipe isn't on there at all. Perhaps KRALMKD will chime in with the info.

KRALMKD told me that the cost is 1480 Euros for a solid white and 1580 for a two color scheme. I do not know what the shipping could be from Europe.

For Information concerning this model or JM Composites, you will need to e-mail Jaroslav Mach at [email protected]. The URL for JM posted above is correct but the web site is a bit light on information.

Jaroslav has been designing and manufacturing top quality F3A models and shipping them into the US for years. I have purchased both a Gaudius and the newer M-14 from him. Both airplanes were shipped in a custom designed light ply crate and arrived without a scratch. Jaroslav's composite work is impeccable.

I received the M-14 a year ago and I believe shipping to LA was under $300.

Hope this helps.

JM Composites´s website is under reconstruction now and soon is also coming Facebook profile with complete informations. Jaroslav Mach - JM Composites is shipping to USA with no problem for a long period. Communication with JM Composites works best via e-mail mentioned above.

I forgot to ask earlier: Are the wings composite, built-up, or foam cores?

Hi Milan,
Did find the Facebook page with additional info.
https://www.facebook.com/JMCOMPOSITES/
Do you have some additional info how to mount the battery without using a stand?
Regards,
Hans
