"A few years back" the fiberglass and foam kit of Ron Chidgy Tiger TailIV, was marketed by Cajun products in Louisiana: I recently got in touch with them and they no longer have the kit or plans for the (built up version) available, nor do they know the 'where abouts' of the Fues. molds-- I was going to buy an un assembled kit from George Truitt(senior Pattern Association) but he is currently out of the country.

Please inform me if you have the kit or the "plans" for the Tiger Tail IV that you would be willing to sell; or in the cae of the built up version: plans that you might consider selling me--- *If you have any thoughts as to where I can get the plans or the kit please let me know.... I have a picture of my last Tiger Tail IV in my user gallery.

Hey guys I know this is an older pattern bird but again would appreciate any suggestion as to where to get either the glass and foam kit (George Truitt)excuse spelling had one for sale but now he is out of the country for a while. How about the plans for the "built up" wood version for the Tiger Tail IV.

Many moons ago, I promised SPA info on guys in your area. I didn't forget. Sometimes it takes me a while to do things. That being said, I have in my hand a set of Southern RC TigerTail plans dated 1971. If you'd like a copy, I will send them with the afore mentioned missing info at no charge as penance for my negligence.

But that's not the Tiger Tail IV he was asking for, it's the original Tiger Tail. The IV was done around 1983.

Hello Steve and Tony, First Steve >>>you are 110% I already have the Original Tiger Tail plans and you sir sent them to me a while back, many thanks on that! I've since got the wing and stab cores cut and collected the balsa and plywood and it all sits in my procrastination section of the shop--Now the"IV" version is different as Tony pointed out (thank you Tony) I know this is a challenge... I still have my origional Tiger Tail but a few weeks back "splattered" my Tiger Tail IV through the woods:high speed down wind in an instant over the horizon,mann the debris field is memorable and that nasty tree sure did in my 91FX. Now Steve>> George Truitt (excuse spelling) offered to sell me his GLASS &FOAM Tiger Tail IV kit but now he is out of the country on an assignment or something. Lastly Steve there is interest in SPA in my area but my club has a full schedule this year so even if I had a clue I wouldn't be able to cd a contest this season . Keep em flying
