Default Great Planes Venus 40

After ripping the wings off my Hanger 9 Ultra Stick 40 this past Sunday with a YS .61 and a tuned pipe, I decided to purchase the Venus to get me back in the air. What I am debating on is whether to put the YS .61 and maybe less the tuned pipe or a YS .45 on it. This YS .61 is very strong and I don't want to the same to happen to this airplane as well. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Keith

Go with the 45, the Venus flies great and is very light, you should keep it that way.

Go with the 45... I had an OS 50SX on it and it was awesome on that plane.

If I was to us the YS .45, what prop sizes would be suitable to try. I think YS recommends a 11x6 or 11x7 for this engine.

Thanks
