Hi guys,
I need some help on a pattern plane that I’m building. The kit is a Scorpio 60. I have a problem with the tail, in my opinion it is a bit too small (short). So I extended it with some balsa wood. The problem I have is that the fuselage is fiber glass and now I have this piece of balsa on the leading edge as part of the tail. What can I put on top of the balsa before I spray it? Should a use a normal wood primer or is there some other product that is can use? Unfortunately we don’t get all the specialty products where I stay so if there is some standard industrial product that some one can suggest it will be fantastic.
Thanks
