Hi!
I'm searching for a good patternplane for a .50-.60 size engine. Preferbly an ARF
I've looked at the Kyosho Majestic and The World Model Zen 50 so far. The Majestic is much nicer too look at.
Any thoughts about these planes? Or recomandations about other models?
Thanks

The Kyosho Majestic 1400 is not a choice for a real F3A entry plane. It’s a good machine but it doesn’t have the profile of a real pattern plane.
If you are thinking in a WMA, ZEN 50 or even a Tai Ji 40 will be better.
I personally flew for a year and a half a Tai Ji 40 with an OS 61 FX and it really works. Try it and you really will enjoy it.
During the same time I flew for a few times a Majestic, but it never gave me the same sensation than the Tai Ji.
Other possibility and a good choice is the CAModels Widebody 60 (ARC [sm=lol.gif]). I flew it twice with an OS 61 FX with very hard wind and it flew perfect. With the correct set up you can easily do Hovers.
Saludos,

Ok, I'm down to these models:
-World Model Zen 50
-GP Venus
-Hangar 9 Aresti
-Hydeaway 50
-Hirobo Stream 50
I'll be using a YS63 on the plane.
What plane shouls I go for? I want a good patternplane (entry level). If the model can do some 3D it is nice, but not a must.

Raptor:
I have the STREAM50 from Hirobo, and is an increidible airplane, is much better than the other options(personal opinion), i have seen the other airplaes fly, but nothing similar as the STREAM, i fly my STREAM with a Rossi .45 Rear Exhaust and a Hatori pipe, true unlimited vertical, the instruction manual shows the instalation of a YS .63 so you are not going to have any problems with the YS.
BUY THE STREAM FROM HIROBO!!!!!
