Default RE: New Pattern Plane?

Here's a pic of the 'box' I built to get the engine out further from the firewall - all it is is a couple of pieces of plywood with a hole drilled through to feed the fuel lines to the tank. I just simply replaced the supplied engine mount screws with longer ones.

The other pic is of the underside of the airplane where the pitts exhaust tubes exit. With the cowl on it works (and looks) good.

I'll take a pic of the cowl cutout and post that another time.

This airplane fly's great. I've got another weekend worth of flights on it and it getting dialed in. Had troubles with the first flight and has been a pleasure ever since!

Scott.

HY I HAD A FASCINATION WITH A 46 LA ON IT AND I HAD ALMOST UNLIMITED VERTICAL WITH A APC 10.5-6 PROPELLER ON IT BUT IT ONLY WEIGHED ABOUT 4 3/4 LBS. I HAD TO STREGHTHEN THE LANDING GEAR AFTER THE FIRST LANDING. IT WOULD KNIFE EDGE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO COUPLING AT ALL.

I guess it would be assinine to try a Super Tiger 90 on this plane huh??
I also have a Webra 50 but if this engine sits high on the firewall the muffler would hit the bottom of the firewall.I don't have a pitts style for my Webra.
I've seen this same exact plane for sale in a couple of places sold under different names, the last one being Fasination.
Would a ST 90 even fit on there???
Thanx
Walt
