I know I'm almost 2 years behind the bleeding edge, just now diving into my Temptation kit. But heck, these things are like vintage wine, sometimes they are better after a few years on the shelf. And as an added bonus, I have all the collective experience to draw on. Now for my question . . . . .
The plans(?) do not specify any kind of doubler inside the fuse when mounting the stab. Is there concensus on whether some kind of reinforcing is necessary? In my case I have built a removable stab as detailed in Bob Noll's "Perfect" video series, so there is a relatively large gluing area. Thanks.

From what I gathered when researching the same thing about a month ago, is to use a doubler, I used 1/8" balsa. The stab seems very well anchored.
