Will this be enough engine...

I finally took the plunge and got an early Christmas present, a Zen 50. Have been eyeballing it enough the last couple months, so I decided to take the plunge. It took me longer to decide on an engine than the plane... I got a Saito .82. Now, I'm just starting out with pattern, I really should have gone on the cheap with a 2 stroker but decided to not make any compromises. So am I going to wish I had something more, or will the .82 haul it around with some authority?

I have many flights on my Zen-50 with various engines... The best combo was my YS-63FZ 12x7 APC- (Which is similar performance-wise to the Saito-82
) tons of power yet not too nose heavy---
Yours sounds like a sweet combo to me---
FYI- I also flew mine with a Rossi-60 2 cy. on long-pipe and with a Tower-75 2 cy.

I had one with a Saito 56. The engine hauled it around fine but needed more for vertical. The 82 should rock! Just be careful with ground clearance if you go to a 13" prop.

Thanks for the replies. I thought about the YS for it a bit, being as the .63 and the .82 are about the same price, but I've got two other Saitos already so I decided to stick with familiar territory. I was a bit concerned about prop clearance, once the plane is together I'll take a look at it.
