Yeah, I remember those days.
I have also forgot them, lol......
Ya know, i don't remember going flying ever with snow at a field.
Dang, I can almost, if I really think hard, remember what snow is like....
I enjoyed this thread. Makes me thankful that I live in a state that has high taxes.
I mean, nice weather....

Hi Rune.
Yeah, we have got some snow in Moss as well.
When I first started flying R/C models, I used to go out when it was -15 to -20 degrees C. (That's about 0 deg. F)
Last week I was out at -10 C, and it felt bitterly cold. Must be the age, I actually had to land before my batteries were empty.
Enclosed is a picture of my latest project, own design, composite fuselage, Hacker C50 motor.
How's your Temptation progressing?
Magne

well has been sick the last month some virus infection fever...but..wings and stabs covered fuse is soon read for paint job just some sanding left !
probably 2-3 weeks before test flight!
your new plane looks nice ... flies ok???
haha and age sure have some effect ..remember we was 10-12 years walking down on the frozen lake with our graupner "Terry's" and frozen our finger blue...but had a lot off fun!
we also about 17 years ago had what i think is the only F3a FAI contest ever that was held on ice on that lake and temp was around -10 degrees i think Tore Jemtegaard won that contest with his "Super Curare" the same plane he enterd the Pensacola wolrd champion ships with!
