From: UK,
Hi guys, looking to move away from 3D and get more into pattern flying. I've got an OS 91fx i'd like to use, happy to use the super quiet silencer i've got but if i should really use a tunes pipe then please let me know.
Don't really want to spend too much, a few of the guys have got the Swallow EX at the club, and they seem to fly nicely but not overly keen on them personally. The Leo 110 looks quite good for the money, but slightly concerned that the 91 wont be enough. I'm only at about 100 feet altitude and like to use 5% nitro. I'm sure the 91 will fly it fine but i've flown planes in the past that dont have good vertical performance and i think it's a pain in the ***..!
I can get the ZN line Synergy 90 3D for a half decent price in the UK, but a friend has one and says it's no good in the wind. Since it is windy more often than not where i am, i supose something that came in at 8lbs with this engine would be nice. I've also seen the CA Models Epsilon ARC on the internet from www.patternproz.com, looks awesome but thats all i've got to go on.
So...any feedback appreciated, anyone got any ideas??

CAmodel Epsilon or Camodel Zafiro is exactly what you need.
I'm the French CAmodel retailer.

From: UK,
Perfect, Phenix, how much can you sell me the Epsilon kit for? Just the bare kit...
I've got an address in Le Touque to ship it too.
Thanks.

I just started flying the OS-91 FX with pipe on a Fliton Infinity and I think it is great. Compared to the Epsilon it is much cheaper as well. Don't know if you can still get it, since it was discontinued some time ago. Try Lenger.de

I`m going to fly the Nemesis 90 from Protech with my OS 91 FX. So far I have used the original silencer with previous planes, but now I will use Hattori 700 tuned pipe with a modified wrap around header for OS 160 FX that will fit the 91 FX. I will also use the VP 30 Perry pump and APC 14x10 propeller.
I dont`t know whether this setup will be enough for vertical pattern flying, but all in all this setup doesn`t cost too much. I consider using this plane and compete in our Nordic F3A program next season.
