Hi Guys Hi Ben
I'm very glad hearing such good things on our Aïto.

one good news for the american market, All our planes will soon be distributed in Canada By Draganfly.

About the Airbrakes: well these are really a pilot's choice. Laurent Lombard used 40mm airbrakes on his Aïto when he won the French national event in Chartres. No he always got the airbrakes on his Aïto. Philippe Noirault and Pascal Delvallet also use 40mm airbrakes, but Nicolas Fratti and myself don't.I saw, Ben flying with smaller ones and it looked to work great also!
I think It's really up to the pilot to deceide wether or not adding them. Just a flight feeling.

Here is the ranks Aïtos earned in the last french meeting

Carvin
international series
1st Benoît Dierickx
2nd Nicolas Fratti

National Series
1st (me lol)

Chartres
International series
1st Laurent Lombard
2nd Nicolas Fratti
3rd Pascal Delvallet

NAtional Series
1st (me lol again)

beginner series
1st Pascal Lesimple
3rd Fabien Chazelas

Mirty mory
International series
1st Nicolas Fratti
2nd Laurent Lombard
3rd Philippe Noirault

have good flights guys

Hi Benoit, how are you? Painted your Synergy fuz yet

Your Fusion looks fantastic. Is it available as a kit or a plan?

Angus
Hello Angus (No painting yet )
Ciao Italy,
Bonjour Jérome (Mr Donut's)

This monoplane is the "Fusion 3D".
Actually, the original "Fusion" is already an old design (lets say 3years!) from Didier Beylard, a french friend of mine (also designer of the welknown "Aïto" produced by Donut's Model)
It was flying well but too stable for hard aerobatics. I did some improvements to get a nervous plane (according to his relativelly big size of 1m) but trying to keep his natural stability. The result is a very homogeneous, neutral, stable but reactive plane on the 3 axes, even able to snap quite good for such a light loading. (The leading edge of this "real" airfoil is very sharp. ) At the same time, Didier improved is building process (1.5mm planed depron) and was able to get the empty weight down to around 80gr!
The bad points are a relativelly big, fast and fragile plane for Indoor....
But it doesn't float [sm=drowning.gif], It doesn't hang [sm=bananahead.gif], ... This fantastic plane really flies [8D] ... like a dream

It's almost impossible to get a kit at a reasonable price due to that complex building process and the resultant fragility. No plan yet as it's a live concept!
But who know's...

Cheers,
Benoit

Hi JLK

First thing:
For Canada, customers have to ask to Draganfly to buy our planes.

for countries outside the EU the products are sold without VAT
this makes an Aïto to be sold 58€

see ya
Jérôme

Hi all, looks like here you have nice discussion about indoor pattern planes. Well here my new own designed plane Futurion F3AI version. Have about 25 flights with it for the moment, plane fly really well. F3P shedule looks like no problem for plane, just need bigger gym and more practice.
Some plane spec's:
Fuselage: 92cm
Wings: 82cm
RTF weight: 158g (with E-tec 2cell 450mah pack)
Sory no videos yet but here are some pictures:

No Atleast not all parts. On Futurion both wings is made from 2mm depron.

Hi guys
here is the new version of the Aîto. It is called the Aïto V2 (kind of original isn't it haha)

and here you'll find a vid (please consider it was a snowy and windy day)
http://www.donuts-models.com/bureau/aito_v2.wmv

you'll be able to find out how slow and precise the plane is even with these windy conditions

best regards

Jérôme

hi and Thanks Stuart
We still have no distributors in the USA for our products but we have one in Canada (draganfly innovations)

but as long as there is no distributor in the US we can send directly to US Customers.

There will be no plans available

Best regards
Jérôme

It took a while, but we finally have an Aito, two Tribals, and two Phasers to sell. As soon as these sell we will order a bunch of the Aito v2 (and the other Donuts planes, if customers communicate their interest to me).

Only available as packages, located at:
