hello every one
I have been watching some of the pattern planes at my flying club and have developed an urge for a precise and majestic plane, I was thinking Pattern.
so as someone who is new to pattern, i would appreciate some guidance in purchasing my first pattern plane i would like it in the 46 size class.
many thanks
regards
James

Last year I did have a GP Venus and Plettenberg Orbit 25-16, 15x10 prop and 5S LiPo 4000 mAh. It was a good kombination and the plane is flying very good.

I've flown both the Venus and the Javelin, both are excellent. Javelin with its long tail is a bit more of a pattern ship. Venus is more of a pattern/artistic aerobatic blend, but flies pattern with grace and precision, well free of cross-coupling, also very light. You need a very low idle with the Venus to land it in with no headwind. You can't miss with either one.

LEt me sugest any 90 size pattern plane before any 2x2m one... the problem with 40-50 size is that they're usualy more "nervous" then the required for training pattern.
In that size there are meny options...
Bye!

James,
You can't go wrong with either a Cermark Javelin or a Kyosho Oxylas .50 for a true pattern feel. I'd rank the three I've had experience with as follows:
1 Oxylas, closest airplane in this size class that I've flown that approximates a 2 meter.
2 Javelin, second closest airplane in this size class that I've flown the approximates a 2 meter. Mine was a little heavier, and just doesn't fly as precise as my Oxylas. I sold it to a buddy in favor of a second Oxylas. He is very happy with it.
3 Venus, very good sport plane.
