Moose Carbon Fiber just sent me a nice looking set. They are their Cap gear made a little narrower at the mounting plate. Don't have the URL but someone put it up on this forum fairly recently. With shipping these only cost me $40!

Hi Daniel,
I thought they were on the site but guess not yet. I held them at there place a couple of weeks ago along with a CF wing tube......... Cool stuff. I couldn't get over how light the wing tubes are. I plan on a set of gear and tubes for my Aries. I guess the best thing is to give Maureen a call.

From: Franklin, TN,
If you're looking to scrap the resin gear that comes with the Focus, Lee at Piedmont sells an aluminum gear as replacement. At $30 it's a whole lot cheaper than carbon alternatives. Weighs a little less than the resin. I have one on mine, works great. (haven't smacked it yet so I can't tell how long it will hold). It is made out of 7000 series aluminum, so it should be pretty tough. FYI, Chuck

The ones from Hirobe are about 150 dollars. I was looking to get some for my focus. I did find that the gator 202 gear will work but is slightly lower so less prop clearence. Art Regal from NY had a pair and they seemed to wokr good. For me I just used the standard gear.
