RE: 2006 US National Championship
I'm not making this up, Mike. Chad Northeast won FAI, again, at the contest this weekend (my home contest). One of the Masters pilots said "Move Out!"
So, yes.

I'll be there too - flying 402. Can't wait to see a Black Magic in the flesh. Hope I survive my first NATs. This should be my last year in Intermediate so hopefully I won't finish dead last. Oh well, it's all good. I'm just going for the experience and to meet the guys who fly outside of D1. Should be fun. Oh yeah - I heard the "move out" thing here in D1 - happened to Dave Lockhart a few times. Best compliment I ever got was a "Don't move up" from someone in Advanced. Who says pattern guys don't have a sense of humor?

It'll be my first Nats as well, also in 402, going up with flyintexan. Can't wait to be part of this great event that we all hear so much about. I'll likely be in the also-ran category, but it should be a great experience...Counting the days...
