Default Electric pattern planes?

Does anyone know of any websites, links, info or people who have tried or are flying F3A style electric powered pattern planes?

I would love to build one. We have just got a new flying site near to my home but it is a little noise sensitive. I am looking forward to getting back into flying pattern and this would be perfect. I stopped flying about 3 years ago so am a little out of touch with things. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel just need some pointers in the right direction.
Cheers

Look for a big Funtana thread somewhere, as a guy used an electric set up on that plane, and it seemed to work very well. A little shade heavier than a normal engine I think, but swung a 20 inch or bigger prop.

The "E-Factor" is extremely successful in F3A competitions, including high-level international competitions. I believe a kit is available.
Ask Michael Ramel (the designer) at [email protected]
Truely a fantastic pattern plane: one of its pilots, Peter Holzapfel, is ranked 10th in the international class F3A league!

Yes, a very good flyer indeed (particularly with a small brushless motor), but basically a foam park flyer, not really what I would call a F3A pattern plane

Look on www.PLProd.com and look in the Concours section. There were a couple of pattern planes that looked like they were 2 meter that were electric. I think the people that flew them were German. Check it out, it looked pretty neat.

Yes, they are "E-Factors" as spoken above. The pictures come from the Romilly international F3A competition, actually Europe's leading F3A comp with such pilots as CPLR, Wolfgang Matt etc. Michael Ramel was flying there with one of the E-Factors entries. They are competitive F3A 2-meter pattern planes of their own right.
