Default Mountianeer contest

Wes and Archy Stafford put on a great contest they had people from NJ, IN, MI, WV, KYand Ohio. The club members done a great job keeping the grill going. Also need to add Paul Flutey for his help to pull off this contest. For those that missed well you missed it, make plans for next year. Thanks to everyone for a great new contest at a fine sight, should add that the runway sits on top of a hill and nothing in the way of flying.
Check out the D4 Website for details.

Not to mention that Arch CD'd the contest the day before he had to move. Nice venue, great weather, good friends and a good start for a new D4 contest location. Thanks!

guys, it looks like you guys had a blast at this contest! i would like to congradulate everyone who has taken a big step in improving the district 4 website. it has taken a real effort and i think it is paying off. i look forward to my first contest after about a 12-13 year break from pattern (been flying imac) at this coming weekends district finals. my buddy joey sandlin and i will be flying in advanced with a much used focus i bought second hand a couple of weeks ago. we both are excited about competing again after flying imac for the last 6 years. i would also like to state that we will be putting on a pattern contest in peebles, ohio next year so i hope you all can make it. just ask any imac guy, i put on a FUN contest. again, thanks everyone for their respective efforts to promote pattern in our district. toby silhavy
