Default Professional Monokote application person or tips needed

I can cover fairly well as long as it isn't over a fully sheeted surface. Can someone explain to me how to get both Ultracote and Monokote ironed on a sheeted wing without bubbles, and yet have that painted on look? I remember many years ago seeing Bill CUnnninghams pattern plane and I really thought the wings were painted...they weren't. They had monokote on them. I don't have as much trouble with Ultracote as I do with monokote, but monokote is shinier. I just can't put them on over sheeted surfaces without bubbles or having the covering get soft in the heat. If it's a single color, I can get it on OK since I can stretch the covering while putting it on. I have problems when I want to use multiple colors and can't stretch the covering that it will bubble either during installation or when sitting in the sun. I've heard of using thinned white glue as an adhesive but haven't tried it yet.

I also would consider sending the plane out to someone to have this type of work done.

Please don't turn this into a discussion of which is better, monokote or ultracote.

Also, please email direct as I don't monitor this forum often. [email protected]
