Default Problems with Nitro Planes!

I recently ordered a Leo 110 from Nitro Models three weeks ago. I received it in about a week but the wing and fuselage were crushed in shipping. I notified them and UPS came the next day and picked up the model. I have yet to receive a new kit. They told me they would not ship until they received a settlement from UPS. Has anyone else experienced this problem with them? I see no reason why I should have to wait until they settle with the shipper. It was not my problem the plane was damaged.

Hal,

I'm not trying to hijack the thread; I'll be glad to start another or do PM's if you want me to.

I don't have any experience with Nitro Models, but it's good to find out there's somebody else in this area with at least an interest in Pattern who is active. There are 2 of us in Forest, both members of CCRC, who are working on the sequences nowdays. My friend just got back from competing in his first contest at Hodges Hobbies in Ga. I haven't been able to make a contest yet, but will soon.

We have a private field over here and would really enjoy any flying company. We do everything from foamies to 2 meter pattern, micro helis up to Raptor 50's. Several of the CCRC and MMRC bunch have flown with us, and we look forward to more visits.

Call if you are interested. 601-507-0777

If you talk to someone there in person and make it clear that once this issue is finally resolved you will never purchase anything from them again, that might make things happen a bit quicker. There are other choices and many other places to shop, after all. Maybe Nito will realize that a crappy reputation is really hard to shed.

If you haven't done so already, there is a subforum for Nitromodels support in the ARF forum. You might try contacting them there.

Skyhawk

I am a member of MMRCC and I think we have a couple of guys that may start flying some pattern. Maybe we can get together and fly.

Rebellion

Thanks for the help. I put a post on the subforum and got an immediate response.
