Default good pattern ship reccomendations

i have a os 50sx non heli versio and a 61fx, what are some good ARFs that would suit either engine, i dont want to overpower like i have done with my 3d planes... i just want a nice crisp smooth flyer, i dont want it for hovering either

Don' know about the 61FX, but there are many good planes for the 50SX. I would suggest a Venus 40, Excelleron 50 and Spot-On 50 in that order for your 50SX. All will be nicely powered and can be set-up to fly real smooth. Hope this helps.

The others mentioned by JJ are good, but I would look no further than the Venus.

The Oxalys would be great as would be the Hirobo Astral XX 60 but they are hard to find in the USA.

Sebart Angel S Evo 50E . .

Wing Span 62,6 in
Lenght 65,4 in
Weight 77,4 oz
Engine: Hacker A50-16S BUT a 40 - 55 (or YS63) will work fine.

Nice movie of it here . . www.sebart.it/movies/Angel50.wmv

I completely agree that the Venus 40 is a great fit for the .50 SX. The Thunder Tiger Imagine 50 is also a very nice ARF that would be well-suited for your .50 SX.

For the .61 FX, I believe you'd find the new Goldberg Skylark 70 ARF to be a very nice fit.

Good luck, and good shopping.

I have an Angel 50e and although I am setting it up Electric, I will probably convert it to a YS63 glow later. I am not sure my Electric gear will power this the way I really want.

It would be an easy conversion, and not difficult for anyone with basic building skills . .

Cheers, Jeff
