Hello all. Can anybody shed some light on sharing the same tune pipe for OS 140 RE and an OS 160 SE switching from one model to another? I have 2 F3A models, one for practice and one for competition. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The Aeroslave carbon pipe does both motors very well.
Just follow the length recommendations on their website.
Just my experience, the only problem with the pipe can be that a baffle can come loose from time to time (so I've changed to an ES Composite pipe for the 160 now).
Again, just my experience, but ,with the 160, you must use a spacer, with a coupler at each end, between the manifold and the pipe----just a long manifold, then one coupler to the pipe, will result in a broken manifold in short order.
And, again on the 160, the coupler nearest to the motor must be a high-temp one,and tough----otherwise burning through or splitting can be a regular problem.
