Default Transmitter Video

Since most people video the airplane flying, we thought it would be entertaining to video what the fingers look like while flying.

Here is a shot of my flying through F-09 on the weekend. Its rather funny to see one holds the sticks, I obviously like to smother mine LOL

Note that I fly aileron/throttle grouped on my left hand, and rudder/elevator grouped on my right hand.

I'd like to see your airplane too. The F-09 sequence is a work of art. It looks much more artistic than the P-09, IMHO. It's cool to see you hands too, though. You people make it look so darn easy.

Hey Chad,

Did you use your own fingers, or, a stunt double?

Nope Adrian, thats all me

Nathan, we tried to film the plane as well, but my videographer and his aging eyes had a hard time following it so it didn't turn out well

Thanks for the valuable video.
BTW I saw that you often changed switches. In what situation do you change switches?
Please teach to us if it is possible.
And then what is the role of the switch?
I would appreciate your answer.

Sarashina

The switches are as follows

- right side of transmitter switch on the front face is the one I use for all snap rolls, I don't like flying with high enough rates to do snaps so I put them on a switch
- left side of transmitter on front face is for spins, just higher rate elevator and rudder, I also use it for the KE loop
- right side of transmitter at the back of the radio is my braking switch for certain downlines.

Thats it.

Nicko,

I was just curious to see what my hands looked like when I flew, since I never get to see them, so we taped it I kinda thought it was funny how I did things, and figured I would share

Ya the 14Z rocks

Hello Chad

Thank you for the answer.
I was able to understand the using of switches well.
I am still in P-09, F-09 is far distance for me for the moment. But I will try it someday.
Thanks again.

Hey Chad thanks for sharing that with us. I'm very impressed with your deft use of the switches. I too use switches for the snaps as I like to keep my rates very soft for normal flying but I don't have a good system like you for getting to the switch. Soo I'm thinking I need to refine my method.
Is the mode your flying considered 3 or 4? Is it the same mode that Ivan uses and why does it seem the only guys that use your mode are from Canada? I fly Mode 1 because I started with reeds. TIA, Mike Mueller

chad did mention that he thought it would be entertaining to do this. i don't think he intended for it to be a help for anyone. it would seem that he put it there for entertainment should you chose to view it.
