Default PATTERN PLANE STORAGE

Well its that time of year and Im getting the planes all stored away. Have been using something like this the past few houses Ive been in, thought others might be interested. A heavier plane would need more padding or a wider board. Not exactly on topic but it is a pattern plane. Angle Aluminum is screwed on to the shelf bracket and JB welded. Shelf system comonly available at Lowes, Homedepot, etc.

Pipe insulation sleeves also work quite well for the padding on 2M and smaller models. Bigger models may need more padding, YMMV.

Walmart,Kmart when the swimming season is in.

Much better than the foam insulation for pipes.

Cheaper too,

Tim
