i'd voluntarily remove the plane temporarily myself!! not so nice when some one walks by and "oops" the elevator is damaged.

I do believe I'm an expert in this area and can offer sound advice...However, I must qualify this by saying I'm on wife number 4...ROFLMAO

1-3 ended somewhere in the phrase, "planes or me...". Lisa (my current wife) always says, "hey honey get the planes out and get em' fixed...You can use the table, we can all eat in the living room...". Now that's a keeper right there...[8D]

I don't think you can go in any room of our house and not see a plane or kit or parts or something RC related...Her laptop even has RF G4 loaded on it...

Well a compromise was reached. The plane spent the night in the basement and I told her that if anything happened to it I would spank her. Her reply was she might just have to step on it herself. Life is good. I think I forgot to mention my wife is my caller , plane supplier(she got me the genesis for christmas) and travel companion for contests. I just hope the new protocal for plane damage includes damage at the hotel at a contest except we might be a little late getting to the field on sunday mornings. Jim

I must comment again.. go figure..

My girlfriend procurred a prototype biplane kit and surprised me on christmas by having me drive to pick it up... awesome!!!

AND.. she is letting me build on the spare table in the living room in front of the big screen while I watch football.... ok, so no football but I do get to watch the all day reruns of NCIS, House and Monk.

Thanks god she hates Lifetime!!!!

My wife of 18 years had the nerv to tell me to take my Genesis off the dining room table and put it of all places on the basement floor. She has family coming over. What should I do? I cant put the plane in the dark and dreary basement but I dont want a fight to Interfere with the new year celibration after everyone leaves. Im open to ideas. Thanks Jim
A Genesis just ain't worth the fight...

Sometimes we get the really supportive ones and at times, we get the ...well you all know it. I just got back from the LHS and gf asked me there what I wanted ... hehehee ... then I see a friend whose gf make a hue and cry over a simple 40 sized plane when he hardly has anything in his hobby room.

Negotiate a compromise....What can she give you in return for such a sacrifice??
