The harmony has just completed it's makeover to electric!
After the initial flights..rebuilding wings...changing incedence etc
We are at 10 lbs 14 ounces with the following equipment:
Dualsky 6355 10
Pt models carbon 2012w
Rhino 4900 10s
Hobby wing 100 amp hv controller
450 mah receiver pack
Four aileron servos
Pull pull rudder
Deps elevator
Mark hunt has been making all the trimming adjustments and it grooves nicely now.
The harmony two has some great updates to it but unless you use very aggressive decisions in reducing weight it will be difficult.

Both actually... 
Thanks for the update Chuck. The equipment you're using is not exactly the lightest so to still make weight is impressive. Are you able to advise on what the model's finish is i.e. film, paint etc?

Out of my list, I believe the "heavy parts" are the ESC, which is maybe one ounce heavy and the batts weigh 1240 grams fyi.
everything else is light, plane is covered totally in monokote.
i will try and get Mark to take some current pics of the plane.

In regards to my original Harmony.
Wings, well, mine were Foam core.. which I built in such a way that required me to add flying wires (carbon rods). The Harmony 2 has built up wings and avoids this problem.
For the Fuse, it is similar to the 2 and what i did with mine was:
1. I built the stabs and rudder as traditional open bay structures with sheeting to the high point and then cap strips.
2. I took the fuse sides and starting at the nose, I sheeted solid till the firewall.
Then from the firewall to the leading edge of the bottom wing, I routed out 1/3 of the sheeting thickness except where the sheeting touched formers
Then... from the leading edge of the wing to the last former behind the wing I routed out 2/3 of the sheeting thickness except where it touches formers.
THEN... from there back I removed all the sheeting ...except where it touched formers.
3. On the Harmony one, there was a lower foam turtledeck that i cut large lightning holes in once I sheeted and glued it to the fuse.
4. I cut or sanded or removed or replaced anything i felt was unecessary or overbuilt.

My Feedback: (1)
Here are some pics of the nose area. The chin is removable via an MK magic box. The batteries are held in place with just velcro strip and a strap on lite ply right behind the motor. You can see the big (understatement) ESC just mounted to some of the lite ply structure. The motor is performing very nice and is front mounted with a rear bearing support. Currently running a 22x12wide making about 2600+watts.

Here is the most recent project, really a frankenstein setup. I was wanting to try swept wings again, had a fuse that was originally for a bipe but got frustrated in how to mount the top wing...it sat for four years and so I mated the two projects.
Ala.... Sting Ray
It has one flight, faulty elevator extension on one half and had to abort testing.

Well the first thing that popped into my mind was fish. Fully adjustable wings is an interesting concept. Keeping the weight in check will be the challenge.

this is Mike Harrison. That is the first Harmony Bipe I built. I gave it to Trent Young so you must have gotten it via Trent. It is basically a fun fli airplane now. it is too heavy for pattern. Trent was going to put a gasser in it.
