Check out the date they flew this human powered aircraft....

They must be getting bored of making F3A models.
Cheers
Jason.

I don't know about a grant but it's not April 1 that's for sure....
The pictures in the factory look a little sparse. Perhaps they have sold all their production after the WC and can now spend some time on the human powered aircraft? lol
Seriously, one has to wonder why?
Cheers

I think the time machine comment came from this statement that it did fly on Sept 19, 2009......Today is only Sept 14th. How did they do that? Interesting project for sure and I would bet the human powered plane will have a great paint finish on it too like all Oxai planes regardless of size.

Imagine to plug the wing on that thing, start pedaling and fly pedaling, maybe 7meters high like their test, and just straight or maybe some turns, that will be awsome, is like going back to the beginning of aviation, that feeling...... it has to be an awsome experience.
But disregards my comment above, let's just talk about their tipographical error(obvious) and let's be smarter than them........................

There a very nice video here: http://www.oxai.cn/en/video.aspx?SubID=9&ID=2
It's in Chinese but the video speaks for itself.

Hi Chris,
Yes you're right about the time machine comment regarding September 19 being the date of the flight. Perhaps it should have been August 19?[&:]
I think you'd have to make sure you had your Gatorade beforehand with this aircraft...
Looking at the photos flying over water seems a bit risky. Probably doctored. Just imagine getting a cramp over the water... Make sure you're not over shark infested waters!
Cheers

....from the video I specially apreciate the footage showing the engineer walking along the leading edge with a F3A stickplane in his hand, and more than once, comparing the two. His mind must be filled with thoughts like : " ..ah those darn guys from production ! They have totally screwed up my brilliant work, even though I made a small model to build from "
