Default CA Model Onas kit

The first shipment of kits from CA Model have arrived. Will post more in depth info later - just wanted to show a pic of the fuse and some of the kit contents. The quality of the new CA Model kits is really good.

Onas fuselage assembly (fuse, canopy, chin cowl weight is 27.5oz (780g). Construction is fiberglass and balsa vacuum bag sandwich. Fuselage surface is very smooth and almost ready to paint. There are molded marks for the wing and stab tubes, incidence references, and servo lead locations to match the holes in the cores.

The fuselages are awesome, I just saw Tuny's and the quality is something completely different to what we are used to, one interesting thing I noticed, is due to the vacuum bagging, there's no excess resin anywhere in the fuselage, very good and light, still way more rigid overall specially on the vertical fin.

Regards

Great looking airplane Chris. I just love the lines of the swept wing. Have they released the new Bipe yet?

Yes Chris, electric only at the moment as Tuny said, and don't think it will change as they will need to make a new mold for it, it has the upper hatch for motor a batteries.
One thing I loved is there are no servo wires hanging anywhere, and there is no adjustments to do on the wings, it uses a piano wire on the wing struts.

If someone can cover a composite fuse and get it to look good, I would love to see it.
