some pics!

first i added some smal pieces of ply to make it a bit stronger behind the firwall.
u can see how the drawing didnt fit. the mount i'm going to use ....and all in place with engine ..just dryfit so far. I also cut out a bit more off the engine room !

yes its plenty place ...engine is an os 140 rx!i have moved the firewall ca 10 mm longer back than the plans say ..but yes ...no problem with the room

i dont know if it sold yet ..but it is or was one in the us that a friend off mine had there ...kit that he was going to sell ..look at one off the links i posted some place in this tread...maybe ur lucky ..i think he wanna 250$ for it

thanks Rune but, with having to replace my privacy fence, buying a generator and other hurricane related expenses, I wwil have to wait a while before buying one or my wife will turn that funny color and her head will spin around!;)

so u was hit hard by the hurricane? i have seen some pics on the telly from difrent places over in the caribean ...looks terrible ...but it gets nice when its over !

I was pretty lucky all things considered. I live about 250 yds off the beach and have a big condo bldg. in between so I just got my fence blown down and some minor roof stuff. There were a lot of people not as lucky though.
I will keep my eyes open for a Temptation this fall though, I saw one fly at the Summer Tangerine and liked the way it looked. Good luck with yours.

got my balsa from LoneStar today...looking wery good ligth and nice from 11 to 15 gr for 1 sheet off 1,5 mm !

As an FYI I know where there is a brand new Temptation, all built with a Webra on the front. Just insatll Radio and servos and go fly. Ditto for a Focus-2 in very good condition. please conatct me @ my e-mail address.

Hello!
Got some work done today!
i have got the wings sheeted done some work the past weeks to get the foam cores ready for that job!
i use Casco Polyurethane glue ..don't have the stuff for vacuum and epoxy ..so does it the old fashion way!
as i don't have a table that is good enough in my home i use one at my work!
the pics talk for it selves i should think!
i used also some glass which was layed on the cores where u can see the marking from root to the tip , this glass is used here in Norway to reinforce walls in the joint for the fiber plates before painting, its a very open type .
at the top to weight it down i used over 200 kg with cu wire .

still working on it ....
have sheeted the wings ...as u see on the pics ..have got all teh hardware in the house.this days working on the tubesfor stab and wing tto get them at the right angels into the fuse...soon ready to glue them in!
so u did buy one in the end Tom!
i probaly dont fly mine until feb\march.

Yes, finally got one. Wood came in from Lonestar yesterday, looks good. Have started to round up hardware for it. Can't wait to start on it.

yes i was wery pleased with what i got ..some off the sheets needed i light sanding on the sides to fit each other , but nice and light 12-16 gr each i orderd 30 sheets 1,5 mm and i will do it again, i think i payed abot 450 NOkwith shipping to norway.

er igang selv med noe schock flyer greier ....men det skal jo tegnes selv!!!
jeg mener jeg totalt ble belastet ca 450,- inkl fraKT FOR 30 1,5 MM flak såkalt competition grade...de var ca 90 cm lange tror jeg mener vekta lå på ca 12-16 gr...javn god kvl. litt kantpusing bare.
prisen for kun balsan husker jeg ikke ..jeg viste ikke akkurat hvem kvalitet jeg skulle ha så ga de de kriteriene jeg hadde langde og vekt.
bet. med visa!kom på ca 1,5 uke....
kommer til og handle igjen!

but that with perm. magnets i think i posted here as a PM...to bad if it not working well

waht i tried to get thru was this .. be carefull to take the rotor out of a stator with P.magnets we repair a lots of smal and mediums sized (0.25Kw-100Kw are they bigger the usually have winded field) dc engines at my workshop and to take them out we slide in a steel bar simultaniouse to short circut the feild in the stator if not we have experienced that the field in this engines and also Tacho generators have a bad habit to get weaker.

OK thanks Rune. Is that the Ola mount you are using? If so, where are the blind nuts placed and how does it attch to the fuse?

Hi!
the blind nuts are inside the mount, and i fasten it from inside the fuse with unbrako screws (m4) and that it also the case on the engine side.
And yes its the same type mount that Ola describe.
